Dr. Ranjit Kumar Sharma, MBBS, MD, FACC, FAPSIC, FSCAI is a Principal Consultant and Head of the Department of Interventional Cardiology at Nepal Mediciti Hospital. Dr. Sharma Graduated MBBS in 1998 and MD Cardiology in 2005. He did his Interventional Cardiology fellowship training at National University Hospital Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS) in 2012/2013. He is Nepalese representative in the APSIC Board.
Dr. Sharma has performed more than 2000 cases of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention including Complex Chronic Total Occlusion, Bifurcation, left-main, graft intervention and also peripheral angioplasty.
Dr. Sharma has authored or Co-authored numerous papers in Peer-reviewed Journals.He worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre for 17 years and he was also working as the Associate Professor at National Academy Medical Sciences.
